Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc’s XQ-58 Valkyrie leverages Aeroprobe’s avionics technologies, including the miniaturized Micro Air Data Computer, and Air Data Probes. These products provide aircraft navigational systems with extremely precise real time information that contribute to performance, maneuverability and safety.
The aircraft offers runway-independence, extreme range, and maneuverability. The company recently announced that its XQ-58A Valkyrie unmanned air vehicle (UAS) completed a flight test in formation with US Air Force (USAF) fighters including an F-22 Raptor and F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.
Aeroprobe has supplied air data probes including total air temperature probes and the boom mounted five-hole air data probe visible protruding from the nose of the aircraft for testing and heated, drained, strut mounted pitot probes for production vehicles.
